Technicolor Network Services France (formerly VCF Thématiques), the leading provider of playout services in France, joined the group in October 2005.  It has strong relationships with most French TV broadcasters and channels, two main sites in Saint-Cloud, in the West of Paris, and operates at nine customer sites in the Paris area.

With more than 310 employees, the company handles the broadcast playout for 60 television channels, for more than 20 customers, resulting in more than 1,500 hours of programming per day.

Technicolor Network France customers include Canal+, NBC Universal, TF1, M6, TV5 Monde, France 24, NRJ, PMU and a number of governmental institutions such s the French parliament, the Senate and the National Library.

The company’s achievement’s in 2006 included the launch of TV5’s state of the art facility which broadcasts 9 channels to some 200 countries and territories, the launch of a revamped and fully automated system for the playout of some 18 channels for Canal+, and the launch of two international news channel for France 24 which required the mobilization of some 120 expert operation staff in less than three months.

The Saint-Cloud facilities boast 24 digital editing suites, a virtual editing room with an online AVID Media Composer 8000, a digital sound editing suite, 20 quality control (QC) rooms and an editing laboratory.
